Two Firmness Levels in One Mattress
Our BODYGUARD® Mattresses for adults give you the choice. Not sure how you want to lie? We give you a different firmness level on each side. You decide whether you want to sleep softer or firmer. Once you have chosen a mattress side, you can leave your BODYGUARD® in this position without hesitation. The highly elastic mattress core made of stable QXSchaum® does not need a regeneration phase. It does not need to be turned and rotated every month.
How bett1 QXSchaum® Mattresses Are Made
The foaming process is reminiscent of baking bread - only the ingredients are different. A foaming agent is added to the liquid mattress raw material. Gas bubbles form and cause the mattress dough to rise. The mattress gains volume and shape. Nothing else happens with bread dough in the oven. The large mattress dough cools, becomes firm and is cut into slices. The machine can be precisely adjusted for every mattress size. This means we can also produce special sizes with a continuous lying surface. Depending on the recipe, the mattress foam is made firmer or softer. At the end, the two sides are joined together to form a mattress. This gives you the usual BODYGUARD® freedom of choice when it comes to firmness.
Symmetrical Ergonomic Modules 3, 5 or 7-Zone Mattress?
Where others talk about zones, we give you tailored support for different areas of the body that are subject to different stresses. Our mattresses are divided into ergonomic modules for the head, neck, shoulders, lumbar region and pelvis. The zones are arranged symmetrically. This means that the ergonomic module for your pelvis is in the middle and then it goes backwards on the other half of the mattress: lordosis, shoulder, neck and head. So you are always perfectly bedded - no matter which way round you sleep on your mattress. Some areas of the body are lighter, others heavier. Your mattress is therefore not subjected to the same load everywhere. For a restful sleep, the pressure must be balanced. Your body shape and lying position play an important role in this. QXSchaum® yields precisely where the pressure arises. The ergonomic modules anticipate areas of the body with different degrees of pressure. The BODYGUARD® Mattresses relieve and stabilize your entire body in every sleeping position. This means you sleep ergonomically and comfortably in any position - whether on your back, side or stomach.
BODYGUARD® – One for All
The BODYGUARD® Mattresses have high point elasticity. This means that they only give way where body pressure is exerted. The advantage: heavier parts of the body can sink deeper into the mattress. Lighter areas of the body are supported. The mattress core is highly elastic, dimensionally stable and always springs back to its original position. This means that tall, heavy people sleep just as restfully on mattresses made of QXSchaum® as short, light people. It is important that your body lies correctly on the different modules. We therefore recommend different mattress lengths for different body sizes. The BODYGUARD® in the 200 cm length has been tested by independent ergonomics institutes for people between 153 cm and 192 cm tall. For people taller than 192 cm, we recommend a mattress length of 210 or 220 cm.
