If you are not satisfied with your BODYGUARD® Mattress, you have the option of returning it within 100 days of the delivery date. This applies to the BODYGUARD® Anti-Kartell-Matratze®, the BODYGUARD® Anti-Kartell-Matratze® Soft, the BODYGUARD® Box Spring Mattress and the BODYGUARD® Box Spring Mattress Soft. The supplementary right of return does not apply to the SuperBreeze® Kids Mattress.
You can simply submit your return request using our return form or by emailing [email protected]. We or a shipping company commissioned by us will arrange the collection date and location with you. The collection location can be any location that is also an acceptable delivery location (see Terms and Conditions § 5). Collection is free of charge for you. The unpacked mattress does not need to be returned in the shipping box for collection. Simply wrap it in the foil that we send you.
Once we have received the mattress, we will refund the purchase price. We bear the risk of loss of the mattress during return shipment. The supplementary right of return exists in addition to your statutory right of withdrawal and does not affect any warranty claims. If an agreed collection fails twice for a reason for which you are responsible, the supplementary right of return shall be deemed not to have been exercised.
All products are subject to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. For returns during the withdrawal period, we bear the costs of return shipping within the Germany (excluding islands).
For the BODYGUARD® Anti-Kartell-Matratze® and the BODYGUARD® Box Spring Mattress, as well as the BODYGUARD® Anti-Kartell-Matratze® Soft and the BODYGUARD® Box Spring Mattress Soft, we also offer you a supplementary 100-day right of return.
You have the right to withdraw from your contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment for this refund as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged for this refund.
We will collect the goods. If the collection address is within the Federal Republic of Germany (excluding islands), we will bear the costs of returning the goods. If the collection address is outside the Federal Republic of Germany or on a German island, you shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods. For goods that cannot be sent by post due to their nature, these costs amount to €115 per item from an island or within a member state of the European Union, and €159 per item from other countries. For goods that can be sent normally by post (such as unpacked mattresses in their original packaging in a compressed state or support pillows), the costs are €39 per item. For returns from other countries (non-EU), the costs of returning all goods are generally €159 per item.
For the BODYGUARD® Anti-Kartell-Matratze® and the BODYGUARD® Box Spring Mattress, we offer you a supplementary 100-day return policy, which gives you the option to return the mattress even after the statutory cancellation period of 14 days has expired. This additional right of return applies in addition to your statutory right of withdrawal and does not affect any warranty claims (see also our Terms and Conditions). The additional 100-day right of return does not apply to the SuperBreeze® Kids Mattress.
If you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal (see above), the provisions on the consequences of exercising the statutory right of withdrawal shall apply in deviation from the above provisions.

Warranty Claim
We want you to be satisfied with your mattress for a long time. That is why we offer a 10-year warranty on the mattress core, i.e. we guarantee that the core can be used in accordance with the contract within the warranty period without any adverse changes to the product properties or physical defects. If a defect should occur within the warranty period, we will either repair the defect or send you a new core.
The warranty period begins on the date of delivery. The invoice is required as proof of warranty. Repair or replacement does not suspend or interrupt the warranty period.
Our warranty is governed by German law. The scope of the warranty is limited to the European Union and Switzerland
Note: In the event of a defect, you are also entitled to statutory warranty claims, in particular in the event of a defect in the cover. These can be claimed free of charge. Your statutory rights in the event of defects are not limited by this warranty.
What Leads to Exclusion from the Warranty?
Defects resulting from improper use are excluded from the warranty.
Improper use includes, for example, if the mattress core is damaged after delivery by cuts, scratches, holes, burns, chemicals or similar damage, if the instructions for use and care in the user manual are not followed, if the mattress is used or stored outside of closed, dry living spaces, or if mould forms due to incorrect handling (e.g. due to improper room ventilation).
Heavily soiled mattresses that cannot be inspected or repaired for hygienic reasons are also excluded from the warranty.
Colour changes are normal for mattress foams and therefore do not constitute a warranty claim. It is also not unusual for the height of the core to change slightly. This is also not a warranty claim, provided that it does not affect the usability of the mattress.
How do I Proceed if I Want to Make use of my Warranty?
In order for us to process a warranty claim, we must be able to verify the warranty claim. To do this, you must report the warranty claim to us within two months of the defect first occurring or being discovered in a legible, correct, complete and truthful manner by e-mail, post or fax (our contact details are listed above). Please include your current contact details, the relevant proof of purchase with the date of purchase and a detailed description of the damage, including photos.
We will then arrange for the goods to be collected. We will examine the goods in question and inform you within a reasonable processing time whether a warranty claim is valid.
If a warranty claim exists, we will either repair or replace the defective mattress core at our discretion. We will cover the costs of repair or replacement and transport (delivery and return), so that you will not incur any costs in the event of a warranty claim. There is no entitlement to compensation under this warranty; statutory claims for compensation remain unaffected.
Please note: If there is no warranty claim and this could have been recognised by you with the necessary care (e.g. because there is clear cut damage to the mattress), we will charge £115 including VAT per journey for transport to and from your premises. Regardless of this, you still have the right to prove that the actual transport and assessment costs are lower, in which case you will only have to pay the actual costs incurred.
Products that have already been used are not resold. If you wish to return a product, we will coordinate collection by a logistics partner.
To conserve resources and protect the environment, we recycle everything that can be recycled from the mattress. The rest is disposed of properly. We constantly monitor the latest advances in innovative recycling technologies and incorporate these findings into the optimisation of our recycling process.
Through our collaboration with the global aid network GAiN, a large proportion of the returned mattresses go to humanitarian aid projects. We subject the mattresses to a thorough inspection beforehand. This ensures that only returned mattresses that still meet our high quality standards are sent to people in crisis situations and war zones.
