Winter sports are the area where our sports sponsorship first began. We made our debut as a sports sponsor at the FIS Women’s Ski Jumping World Cup in Hinterzarten, long before we became involved in basketball, tennis or athletics.
Today, we support the Ski Jumping World Cup in Klingenthal, for both the men’s and women’s events. The Vogtland Arena is one of the most modern ski jumping facilities in Europe, and the World Cup held there is the sporting event of the year for the region. In addition, there is the Nordic Combined World Cup in Schonach in the Black Forest, the traditional Black Forest Cup, where we are involved as an event sponsor. The next edition is scheduled for 22 to 24 January 2027. In the past, we have also been involved with the FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup in Feldberg.
For a Vibrant Sporting Culture
Our focus is on the breadth of winter sports: not just the one major event, but the multitude of competitions that keep the sport alive in Germany. Recovery and a good night’s sleep play a crucial role in athletes’ performance, particularly in endurance and winter sports – an issue that is particularly close to our hearts as a mattress manufacturer. Through our commitment, we aim to support these competitions in the long term and raise their profile. In this way, winter sports remain an integral part of our sponsorship portfolio, even away from the major World Cup venues.
