‘Jugend trainiert’ for Olympia und Paralympics

A group of children in wheelchairs, their faces looking strained and their hair blowing in the wind, are taking part in a race.

‘Jugend trainiert’– Youth Training

Since May 2021, we have been a partner of the German School Sports Foundation and, by extension, the world’s largest school sports competition. Every year, hundreds of thousands of pupils compete in over two dozen sports, from school-level competitions right through to the national finals in Berlin.

In front of packed stands, several rows of children are standing, holding large national flags. Next to them is the ‘Jugend trainiert’ mascot in a star-shaped costume.

Fair Opportunities for All Children

It’s easy to explain why ‘Jugend trainiert’ for the Olympics and Paralympics is a good fit for us: we are committed to fair competition in the mattress market and promote it in sport too. And we see the same thing in ‘Jugend trainiert’ as we do with ALBA and the multi-sport event, namely children discovering sport for themselves because someone has given them the opportunity to do so.
